What Does Release of Information Mean?

Some records of information have such confidentiality which is protected and secure by Federal Law. What Does a Release of Information Specialist Do?

Often known as front-line greeters, these Release of Information specialists are trained individuals responsible for facilitating data and records of any client while following specific rules and regulations for the protection of confidentiality.

Most of the time, they are the ones receiving queries from walk-in individuals or via electronic communication. Basically, these Release of Information Specialists are expected to provided a quality customer service with their clients. How To Write a Release of Information Letter?

Either you are requesting for your own record or you’d like to request for someone else’s records, you need to write a Release of Form letter. It’s as simple as writing your personal love letter but it’s more formal. To give you an idea on what should be included in your letter, consider these things:

  • Observe proper formatting
  • Start with your salutations
  • Give the specific authorization details (for representative)
