 What is an Annual Performance Appraisal?

An annual performance appraisal is an evaluation conducted by a company after every 12 months to determine the performance scale of an employee in the company. The appraisal accounts for all the days worked in the last 365 days. And, it may be conducted in the last month of the same year or the first month of the following year. While the exact time of conducting this kind of an appraisal is not always specific, the end of the year or the start of a new one is usually the time when companies conduct appraisals. Appraisals are very important and there is no way your company can or should ignore them.

Why Should You Conduct an Appraisal?
