The Importance of Doing Self-Assessments
As stated before, people need to know how well they’re doing and how well they’re performing if they want to make improvements on themselves or if they want to make drastic changes that can benefit them. For example, if an employee does a proper assessment on his work performance by filling it out on the Employee Self-Assessment Forms, he sees that there are areas he knows he has problems with, so he uses the assessment as a chance to fix them.
However, there are also instances that an employee or student does an assessment wherein they know they’re doing poorly, but they do nothing about it.
