How to Check Hotel Registration Number

As a guest, once you do your registration or reservation, you will be given a hotel registration number that will be kept confidential under hotel records. How Do I Know If My Registration Is Confirmed?

When you book your reservations online, your registration details shall automatically be sent to the hotel’s reservation/registration team. Then an email confirmation shall be sent to your email or to the email address of anyone listed in the reservation form. The same way when trying to book a supplier online through a Supplier Registration Form, you will also be receiving a confirmation email or you may even get a call from the supplier if you have provided a phone number.

You can also go through the website where you booked your hotel reservations. If you have an account for that website, you will know immediately if your registration is confirmed. You may also call on the hotel reservations/registration department and ask whether or not your registration is confirmed.

But this process can take a longer time and greater effort than checking on your email as you will have to give the reservation attendant most of the details you have on your registration/reservation form, or you can also give your hotel registration number if you already have one.

What Is a Vendor Registration Form?

A Vendor Registration Form is a form which suppliers shall complete if they wish to conduct business within a certain state or under an event or under a mother system, if they wish to supply or sell their products and services online. What Is Pre-Registration for Hotels?

Pre-registration for hotels is usually done if the guests come in groups or they are VIPs. This means that prior to the arrival of guests, they have already completed their check-in process or someone else has done it for them.

Pr-registration in hotel means that the moment these guests arrive in the hotel, they need not to fill up a Customer Registration Form, instead all they have to do is proceed to their rooms as arranged already, and enjoy the welcome letters prepared by the hotel. However, there may be times when guests may need to verify some information needed.

Hotel Registration Guidelines

Just as your Event Registration Forms follow a standard guideline before getting an approval, your hotel registration process also follows a set of guidelines before getting a confirmation email or before completing the check in process.

  • For online registration, guests need to make advance payment. Although some hotels don’t need this, others see the need to have at least 50% of the total expense for accommodation to ensure that the guests who reserved and registered online will push through.
  • For online registration, you must give your arrival and departure details including your estimated time of arrival and estimated time of departure.
  • Truthful contact details must be provided.
  • Type of rooms, and number of persons staying classifying as either adult and/or children, and the number of days of stay in the hotel must be specified.
