What is a Preliminary Notice?

A preliminary notice is usually used in construction projects that notify the owner of the property or the general contractor about the work activities that are done by the subcontractors and suppliers. This is submitted in the beginning or before the construction or improvements of the project are being made.

This serves as an introductory or preparatory of what will result if the owner or the general contractor fails to do what he/she is obliged to.
