Extended warranty – This is a type of warranty which is to be used to accompany the other aforementioned warranties in order to extend the period and the range of services to be provided to the consumer of the seller’s products and goods. An extended warranty is also known as a service agreement between the seller and the buyer or the consumer. In this type of warranty, it is important that the seller will be able to specify the liabilities and the responsibilities of the consumer along with the particular incidents and situations wherein the seller will allow the buyer to either return the product in replacement for a new one or have the bought product fixed during the period of the extension.
