What does Recruitment Requisition Mean?
Recruitment requisitions are basically requests for when a supervisor sees certain staff positions need to be filled in. Think of them as exactly the same as employee requisition forms in terms of their purpose. They’re basically asking their superiors that they need more people in certain departments so that they can fully operate at maximum capacity.
These can also be made during certain situations that require different types of professions to join a company. A good example would be needing a photographer for a certain company event, so those in charge of supervising the event can make this kind of requisition for temporary employment.
Approving a Recruitment Requisition
When approving recruitment requisitions, the purpose of the request has to be properly analyzed. Let’s say someone hands over a staff requisition form over to his superiors. Before these can be approved, it should be stated in the form as to why the position needs to be opened.
It should also state as to why the position needs the requirements placed in these forms as well. So long as that’s settled and the name of the supervisor who needs the position opened has placed in the necessary details, then there should be no problem in approving these requests.

Forms such as internal requisition forms can play a big role in the company, they’re the ones that make sure that you get the right person for the right job. However, should there be any changes, then they have to be properly specified.
So here are some key changes for these forms:
- The title of the position that’s needed. If you’re going to change the title, then make sure that it’s properly authorized as not to confuse applicants. You wouldn’t want them applying for a job in communication, only for them to find out that they’re applying for a technical position.
- The requirements for attaining the position. If you’re going to make any necessary changes to these, then you’ll have to make sure it’s exactly what you need. You’re going to want to be certain that you’re getting the right kind of person so if you need to change an applicant’s qualification, then make sure they’re properly authorized.
- The date of when you need these people. You wouldn’t want to hire someone only to find that he has nothing to fill in right? So make sure that the day you make the request is only when you know there are positions available.
